It needs an enormous strive for perfection, years of sound racing experience and a lot of creativity to devolop a wave piercer. The Flyer made it possible to reach the pole position in the A-Cat category unchallenged by any other boat.
Its construction is mainly based on fast and shooty hull lines together with a balanced lift distribution.
The major sailing characteristics are: she "drills" through the waves following the shortest line with reduced vertical movements which all contribute to her considerable higher speed. The Flyer spray has been reduced to a minimum which prevents the unnecessary loss of energy.
The physics of the flyer is a pioneering development which makes her the only high performance A-Cat.
